Matthew 5:5 - Blessed
are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Most people associate meekness with weakness but that’s not
at all what it means. In the original language the word “meek” was used to
describe the taming of a wild animal. So meekness is really power under
control.
It’s a person whose life has been brought under the control
of the Holy Spirit. Are you under the control and leading of the Holy Spirit or
do you insist on being in control?
